The HTM-8 is the flagship of Wet Sounds’ HTM Series amplifier range — an 8-channel, full-range Class-D amplifier engineered for the most demanding marine audio applications. Whether you’re powering a full tower speaker setup, in-boat speakers, and a subwoofer simultaneously, or building out a high-output multi-zone system, the HTM-8 delivers the power, flexibility, and reliability to handle it all.
Class-D topology delivers superior efficiency and extreme power output without the heat and bulk of traditional amplifier designs — 85W per channel at 4Ω stereo, 150W per channel at 2Ω stereo, or 300W per channel bridged at 4Ω across four channels, giving you the flexibility to configure the amplifier to suit your system’s exact requirements. Full-range audio capability ensures crystal-clear sound across the entire 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range, while selectable crossovers — high-pass, low-pass, and full range — allow precise control over what each channel delivers. An adjustable crossover range of 50Hz to 500Hz covers the majority of system configurations, and channels 7 and 8 feature a dedicated subsonic filter adjustable from 10Hz to 55Hz for subwoofer applications.
The reduced-height chassis is a significant improvement over previous HTX models, fitting into tighter installation spaces without sacrificing output or features. Removable power and speaker connectors simplify installation and future maintenance, and the versatile blue LED backlit badge can be mounted horizontally or vertically to suit the installation orientation. Optional mounting feet allow elevation from the mounting surface for additional airflow and installation flexibility. IPX5 water resistance ensures reliable performance in the marine environment.
