The RECON 6 is Wet Sounds’ entry-level 6.5″ marine coaxial speaker — and one of the best value upgrades available for in-boat audio. Designed specifically for low power applications, the RECON 6 delivers genuine high-performance sound straight from your head unit, with no amplifier required. If you’re looking to upgrade factory speakers without a full system overhaul, this is where to start.

Built around a powerful 6.5″ mid driver with a full rubber Santoprene™ spider and surround suspension system, the RECON 6 uses a lightweight Nylas™ nylon and fiberglass frame for a strong, corrosion-resistant build suited to both marine and powersport applications. The injection-moulded composite cone handles mid-range output cleanly, while the ¾” aluminum dome tweeter extends high-frequency response across the full range from 40Hz to 20kHz. At 89dB sensitivity and just 60W RMS power handling, the RECON 6 is optimised to perform at its best straight off a quality head unit.

RGB models feature an RGB backlit tweeter, allowing you to add accent lighting in any colour using a Wet Sounds RGB Controller (sold separately). Non-RGB models deliver the same audio performance without the lighting feature. Available in 3 grille styles, each offered with or without RGB. Sold in pairs. Backed by Wet Sounds’ 2-year warranty.
