The Sinister SDX2500 is the most powerful amplifier Wet Sounds has ever built — a dedicated Class-D monoblock subwoofer amplifier combining the MAXED™ patented power supply with true Class-D topology to achieve an efficiency rating of over 87%, one of the highest available in any marine amplifier. The result is maximum subwoofer output with minimum current drain, less heat generated, and less strain on your boat’s electrical system — more power, more playing time.

Output figures are substantial — 1,000W at 4Ω, 1,700W at 2Ω, and 2,500W at 1Ω — all at under 1% THD, making the SDX2500 the go-to choice for the most demanding subwoofer applications in any marine audio system. The low-pass crossover is adjustable from 50Hz to 150Hz at 12dB per octave for precise bass frequency control, with a subsonic filter adjustable from 10Hz to 50Hz to remove unwanted sub-bass frequencies that consume power without contributing to audible output. Bass boost is variable from 0 to 12dB across 30Hz to 125Hz for fine-tuned bass response, and the remote level control allows convenient output adjustment without touching the chassis.

A standout feature is the master/slave configuration — allowing two or more SDX2500 amplifiers to be controlled from a single master unit. Gains, crossovers, bass boost, subsonic filters, and remote levels can all be managed from the master amplifier, eliminating the gain and crossover matching normally required when running multiple amplifiers, and removing the need for RCA Y adaptors.

Intelligent microprocessor-controlled protection circuitry provides overvoltage and undervoltage protection, DC offset protection, speaker short protection, and thermal rollback for consistent performance in harsh marine conditions — all displayed via the backlit Wet Sounds shield logo badge. The badge can be set to display red, white, or blue and rotated for horizontal or vertical placement to suit the installation. The top-mounted controls sit behind a sealed chassis for additional protection against the marine environment, and the four-layer conformal coated PCB provides a further level of protection against moisture and corrosion. Requires 1/0 AWG power and ground wiring. Backed by Wet Sounds’ 2-year limited warranty.
