The WS-MC-1 is Wet Sounds’ most advanced marine media center — a two-piece system comprising the MC-MD main display and MC-BB black box, designed for boat owners who want complete, customisable control over every zone of their audio system from a single, intuitive helm interface. If you’re running a serious multi-zone audio setup and want the flexibility to manage it exactly the way you want, the MC-1 is the solution.
Four fully independent zones of 4V audio output give you complete control over tower speakers, cabin speakers, and subwoofers — each zone can be custom labelled for instant identification at the helm, with user-defined volume presets for different scenarios (docked, cruising, party cove) accessible at a single touch. Once zones are set, a single master control raises or lowers the entire system simultaneously. The 4×50W internal amplifier provides power for in-boat speakers directly from the unit, with 4V pre-amp outputs feeding external amplifiers for expanded systems.
The vibrant 5″ display automatically switches between day and night modes in sync with the vessel’s lighting system, keeping readability optimal in any condition. A built-in battery voltage monitor and alarm warns when voltage drops to a critically low level — a practical safety feature that protects your system and your battery. The operating system is fully upgradeable via USB without removing the unit.
Audio sources include AM/FM and Weather Band radio, USB input with iPhone/iPod connectivity and charging, Pandora, auxiliary input, and SiriusXM-Ready connectivity (SiriusXM Connect Tuner and subscription sold separately — compatible with SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner). USB connection supports full playlist, folder browsing, and full-colour album artwork display. SiriusXM content can be paused, rewound, and replayed when a compatible tuner is connected.
An exclusive Wet Sounds feature is the ability to control up to 4 zones of RGB LED lighting when paired with the optional Wet Sounds/Shadowcaster WS-4Z-RGB-BB RGB LED lighting controller. For control away from the helm, up to 2 MC-TR transom remotes and 2 additional MC-MD2 display units can be connected for multi-location control.
